Coming Along

I think I'm going to try and get on a regular publishing schedule and I'm thinking it will be Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. This will leave my Fridays and Saturdays free for exciting misadventures, and Sundays for chronicling said misadventures. I'm not sure what I'll talk about on Tuesday and Thursday, but I'll try and come up with something.

Ok, other stuff.

Work is going well. The hectic pace of a few weeks back has eased up, gratefully giving us more time to finish up our projects, hopefully with a much higher degree of quality. Also, I am quite happy to say that I managed to get a rather tricky bit of functionality up and running today. Which means tomorrow will largely be focused on, well, everything else I need to get done.

I've got a couple of contract jobs going on at the moment and, fortunately, they're also pretty straightforward. This is good because it will a) give me some spending money for my upcoming summer travels and b) still be manageable enough for me hammer them out over the next two weekends.

July 4th, I still have no plans. A BBQ perhaps? Other summer plans: an early July birthday, a tentative camping trip somewhere, probably with trees; at least two late July birthdays, a wedding in Hawaii in August, and my birthday, of course.

And, finally, I'm pretty much digging Drupal for running my site. It definitely has some quirks, but I find it to have a relatively low learning curve. I reckon I'll be pretty busy this weekend but I'm going to try hammer out some more features, additions, etc. to the site. And, of course, I've got a bunch of other random side projects that I'd like to hack on.
