Day of Movies and chores

I had grand plans of going shopping in order to prepare for our upcoming office party. I am unsure whether I should be super fancy, night-out casual, mission hipster casual, or interview formal without looking like I'm going to an interview. And I am receiving zero guidance. To add to my troubles I decided to pay bills and balance my checkbook today. And it turns out I don't have money to go buy fancy clothes that are perfect for any occasion. Whatever. I didn't want to go downtown anyway. Though I do need new socks...

And, on the topic of paperwork, I started doing my taxes today. Yay.

So, instead of going shopping I did chores and watched movies. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is actually a considerably better movie than I would have imagined it being. That is a very wordy way of saying that it didn't suck and I rather enjoyed it. I also watched Serenity (again) and I've discovered the best way to get facebook comments is to post a memorable quote from that movie. And now, against my better judgment I'm watching (500) Days of Summer.

I also had chili for dinner. It came in a can and had 45g of carbs.

And what else does tonight have in store for me? I think I shall do dishes and perhaps clean my bathroom. It really does quite need to be cleaned. Scoured really.
